Ideas worth exploring: human-centered design
What is it: Human-centered design focuses on people's needs and attitudes, instead of the target behavior, "places greater emphasis on people’s own interpretations of their beliefs, feelings, and behaviors", and actively involves people in the research process.
"The obvious next priority is to combine these kinds of approaches with human-centered design to help people design or redesign their own environments."
It is my strong believe that the CX practice will gain a major boost by adopting some or all of these principles, for unless we understand truly and deeply how customers live their lives, we would never be able to fit in them.
